Miner Difficulties is the story of two robots competing for resources. Little do they know, they have more to worry about than just each other.

Miner Difficulties has been chosen as an official selection in both the River Run International Film Festival and in the Monadnock International Film Festival

Based on a story by fellow UNCSA student Michelle Degrace, Miner Difficulties evolved over the course of a year to become a fully-fledged animated short. This is the first CG short I have created from start to finish. The modeling, rigging, and animation were all done with Autodesk Maya. Several textures were done in Photoshop and additional effects were done in After Effects.

When you spend as long with these characters as I have, it's hard not to become attached. They have won me over after a year of working with them, here's hoping they can win you over in six minutes!
